Gabe Hagen on NPR Marketplace

Gabe Hagen—CEO of Brick Road Coffee in Tempe, AZ and a participant in Small Businesses Against Tariffs—spoke to NPR Marketplace about the continuing impacts of tariffs on his company, and the messy, uncertain rollout of the tariff refund process. He told NPR:

I’m doing my budget month-by-month at this point. I can’t plan for anything. There’s no way of know what’s going to happen. Because every time I think they can’t do something else that will cause more harm, they do something like stop of the flow [of goods through] the Strait of Hormuz … I can’t wrap my head around how any small business is going to survive.
